The Governing Body at Aldborough is made up of a group of motivated volunteers who have been elected to provide strategic direction for the school, in partnership with the Head Teacher. The Governing Body comprises of parents of children currently at the school, in addition to LA representatives, Community Governors, Trust Governors and Staff Governors, all offering specific expertise and experience to support the school.
The Governing Body works with the Head Teacher to ensure that the school continues to provide our children with engaging learning opportunities within a happy and secure environment. They ensure that local and national government legislation is met, oversee the spend on the school budget, and provide support and challenge.
Governors take an active role in the school, not only attending meetings and training, but also school functions, and undertaking visits to classrooms.
If you wish to communicate with the Chair of Governors, Richard Hembling, or Vice-Chair, Jan Legge then please contact the school office.
